Plans are moving forward to secure Government approval for the City’s most famous dish. This is being progressed with DCMS (Dept for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport) undfer their Living Heritage initiative. Apart from signing up a number of ‘genuine’ balti restaurants, a number of influential ‘Brummies’ are lending their support.
